Erik entered Puget Sound agriculture community as a habitat restoration technician in 2010 where he installed and maintained conservation reserve enhancement projects in King, Snohomish, Skagit, and Whatcom counties. Attuned to climate conditions in Western Washington, he has since worked in roles of greenhouse production, organic farming, edible landscaping, and community organizing. Erik's experience in organizational planning and quality control will be assets in farm production where he will specialize in root crops and lettuce production.
Aaron's experience in agriculture crosses the North American continent and reaches to Hawaii where he practiced vegetable production. A native to New Jersey, he previously led garden education classes and worked at urban farms in the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan. Passionate about revitalizing localized food systems and implementing less destructive agricultural practices on a large scale, Aaron's focus is on hardy greens, tomato, and other specialty fruit at Sound Vegetables.
